Hiatus Broken

Almost four months. That is exactly the thing a blogger should not follow. Its not like my blog pulls in rapt traffic but solely for me to improve my writing/communication skills which is slowly beginning to attain super¬†reek stage¬†and to write stuff the way I want to and the way my eyes see it. I honestly do not know what to write at the moment that can spell sense in some way but I just wanted to make sure I write something which takes off from where I left on March 14. So much has happened and I’ll make sure every detail is covered in the bestest¬†mode possible. Officially, I’m in blog-louve¬†now, every second relished!¬†ūüėÄ

Economics Simplified

International economics classified with cows and milk.Interesting read.

Court:Mala Raj

You have two cows.
Your neighbor has none.
You feel guilty for being successful.

You have two cows.
Your neighbor has none.

You have two cows.
The government takes one and
gives it to your neighbor.
You form a cooperative to tell
him how to manage his cow.

You have two cows.
The government seizes both and
provides you with milk.
You wait in line for hours to get it.
It is expensive and sour.

You have two cows.
You sell one, buy a bull, and
build a herd of cows.

January 2008-The month that was

The new year started off on a rough note with reasons better untold but otherwise the first month of 2008 was pretty much averagish. Equally eventful as it was surprising.

Fourth sem began with a bang on Jan 2nd what with all of us meeting up after almost a month.Needless to say on the very first day¬†our enthu pattani profs made it a point to feed¬†us with something they call basics of their subject¬†which ultimately resulted in us throwing up inside our mouths.¬†Adding to the dismay were our subjects, dehydrated like super-special-sun-licked dry tasteless tomatoes.Just when¬†I thought it couldn’t get more nauseating *puffffff* there appeared our NM prof, after a long list of ma’dame’ profs,¬†a man(finally!) ¬†with uber sexy mane¬†when straightened would reach halfway down his hip.

So,one random NM class:

Prof:Ahh you at the back side there…

Unaware he’s pointing at me I stare at him blank as the green board behind him.

Prof:You girl, get up,say me the answer for the ‘eijen’ value.

Me:(Nudging VV sitting next to me to help me out who apparently also had no idea what the guy was asking about) Sir,too many values here, which one do you want sir?(obviously a little less loud and then mumbling with an answer after which I was reluctantly asked to sit down)

So ultimately it was then that we realised that this prof was our ‘Dodging and Ducking’ sir of the fourth sem.

A few days later, random lab session:

It was just a record note that I had in hand which I didn’t know we weren’t supposed to bring that day.

Our incharge prof:(Sore from the start and super annoyed when I made my entry) Why are you behaving like anything ma?

Me:*I just died then*

Random lab session II:

SR’s copyright knock-knock joke.

VM:Who’s there?

SR:You know

VM:You know who?

VM:*I so did! the second time ’round!*

Classes aside,my bday arrived a few days later.I was not all that excited about my last-teen-year bday, man growing old can be a b*tch sometimes. But hey, surprises have their own blissful language. So SR bought a huge delicious vanilla cake for my bday which was, thanks to my friends, also used as a facepack for ten mins!

Birthdays,treats,4th sem,Saarang(which I happened to attend the last day to witness our coll’ s short film ‘Murphy’s Law’ starring our 8th sem stud boys),Choreo Nite(my first pro-show event attended at Saarang),NSS camp at Ayakulathur,Rotaract camp at a public school in Porur, odd sem results(one big comedy show!),eleven restaurants experimented(good food-happy yappy camper!),fab six yards of pure magic(my first special¬†family wedding sari),my new room and *DOUBLE YAY!!!* for the blastoff of SPLASH PORTAL!

January 2008 has been a month of sorts for me,special and exceptional in more ways than one and may February comprise of an extra dose of fun-extreme!

So here goes for the amethyst month…KICKASS!!! ūüėÄ

Celebrated Excerpts

Its almost been one year and a half and everyday I find it pleasurably new and exciting. My college life with justified measure has so far been supremely entertaining, genuinely depressing, surprisingly enlightening(curriculum and otherwise) and completely delightful!!!

Thanks heaps to a magnificent set of classmates,my BFFs!

Classes would never have been the same without them and our profs.Last benchers society,’behind-the-prof’s back’ delictable snack sessions, underground record writing, day dreaming,TR commentary,’what was the question again?’,canteen rejoice, phunny teknikal frafessor’s englipish, wholesale bunking and the list keeps going and going!! So heres some stuff which was laughed at and about.Stuff that will be cherished always and yeah relevent to the title(atlast!)

One random first sem phy class…

Physics Prof:Ahh take down in your note…feezo-yelectric method…

Students:*Blink* *Blink*

One Student:Sir,can you please repeat it.

Prof:What is this? You are all now engineering students and you dont know this also? *shakes head*.Take down spells it P-I-E-Z-O-E-L-E-C-T-R-I-C method.

Students:Oh dear Gaad!!!!
